BUSHINGS AND STRUCTURAL PARTS
What are self-lubricating parts?
Self-lubricating parts are one of the oldest metal pieces with industrial applications. The porosity of sintered pieces acts as an oil reservoir, forming a lubricating film, thus avoiding the early weariness of the surface.
Application
Due to its low production cost and high dimensional precision, self-lubricating bushings have a large application in the mechanical, electric and electronic industry.
Only obtained by means of powder metallurgy, the bushing porosity is controlled during the manufacturing, allowing the ideal lubricating dosage required to its application, thus grating a better performance.
